NOTD!- GOSH Holographic

I have never been a fan of shimmery/glittery/sparkly nail polishes. I dont know why, i have always only ever owned cream polishes- pastel lilacs, baby pinks, powder blues. Ever since my first OPI laquer 'Done out in Deco', i have been obsessed with creamy lilac colours! However since following blogs such as Scrangie its hard not to like polishes you wouldnt otherwise look at!

I love the idea of nail foiling, i just think it looks sophisticated and glamorous! Though applying nail foils is quite tedious and the results dont always last as long. Id been looking for a good polish that has this effect, like molton metal! This is where GOSH comes in!

I'd seen GOSH Holographic polish mentioned on a few blogs recently, and thought id go check it out- the pictures i had seen online seemed too good to be true;

My picture really doesnt do it justice, its hard to capture it in different lights, the only way you'll see is if you see it in real life! It is truly amazing! It has a silver base with holographic glitters running through it, indoors it looks 'duller', for lack of a better word, but in the sun it glistens, and it looks so pretty! It has the same effect of nail foiling, with less hassle.

In terms of consistancy it is quite difficult to work with i found. It is quite streaky, and dries quite quick. I had to do 4 thin coats to get it completely even, though i am a perfectionist and you could probably get away with two coats. Finishing with a top coat really enhances the polish.

I would definitely recommend this from GOSH- it retails for around £5 from Superdrug, they always have offers on too!
